TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR GOLDEN PROMISE REWARDS PROGRAMME

  1. Golden Promise Rewards Programme is open to corporations and individuals aged 18 or above. To register for a personal account, potential members can fill out and submit the application form athttp://www.goldenpromise.com.hk/rewards/en/registration/ To register for a corporate account, applicant must obtain company’s approval through signing the enrolment form with company’s chop. Applicant can download the application form at http://www.goldenpromise.com.hk/rewards/en/registration/ and submit the form to Golden Promise Travel Agency Co. through mail/email/fax. Membership is accepted at the sole discretion of Golden Promise Travel Agency Co.

  2. To register for a corporate account ,the company must nominate one or more persons as its representative ("Member") to enroll in Golden Promise Rewards Programme on its behalf, but not in his/her own name or on his/her own behalf. The representative must obtain company’s approval for registering a corporate account. Any reward obtained through Golden Promise Rewards Programme must be attributed to a corporate account itself and any personal on receipt of the reward will be deemed as having legitimately full authorization from the company or organization.

  3. A Golden Promise Rewards Programme’s membership number will be assigned to the representative staff of each company and individual once the application is approved. Members are required to quote this membership number and their name when placing reservations with Golden Promise Travel Agency Co. The use of this number and associated benefits is deemed to be an acceptance of the terms and conditions of Golden Promise Rewards Programme.

  4. Members are not eligible to receive GP points through the membership account before it has been setup and activated by Golden Promise Travel Agency Co. for any transaction made.

  5. Members are responsible for keeping Golden Promise Travel Agency Co. up to date on their correct communications/postal address. Golden Promise Travel Agency Co. is not responsible for any loss as a result of member’s failure to notify a change in contact information.

  6. Members must ensure that login password is not disclosed to any unauthorized parties. Golden Promise Travel Agency Co. cannot be held liable for the consequences of any unauthorized disclosure of password by members or unauthorized use of the password, including unauthorized redemption of GP points.

  7. GP points are only awarded for spending on travel products and services arranged by Golden Promise Travel Agency Co. through either the personal or corporate account and are non-transferable. Misuse of programme benefits may result in termination or suspension of membership or withdrawal of benefits.

  8. Members are encouraged to log-in from time to time in order to obtain the latest news as well as to enjoy promotional offers.

  9. GP points can be accumulated through a period of 2 years from the date of member registration and it is advisable to redeem gifts before the expiry date of GP points.

  10. For nominee of each company, only the staff recorded and stated on the application form and are still under the employment of the eligible member may apply for gift redemption. They may do so online on or before the expiry date of the earned GP points.

  11. GP points may take between 5 to 7 weeks after settlement to be credited to member’s account. The total points accumulated and/or awarded are subject to the final record and decision of the Golden Promise Travel Agency Co.

  12. Members are required to check the account balance in their membership accounts from time to time and to notify Golden Promise Travel Agency Co. as soon as possible if there is any discrepancy.

  13. GP points accumulated and registered under member’s previous employment cannot be carried forward to their new employment and members are required to register again for the new employment.

  14. To redeem gifts online, member may log on to www.goldenpromise.com.hk/rewards and click on category to look for gifts available for redemption. After adding gifts to the shopping cart, member can click check out and submit the gift redemption application. Member will receive redeem confirmation email for gift collection in 4 to 8 weeks from the date of

  15. If the member is deemed to have disclaimed gifts, Golden Promise Travel Agency Co. has the right to dispose them without prior notice. The points deducted upon successful redemption of gifts will not be added back to member’s account even though the gifts are not collected.

  16. For corporate account, member of their representative staff stated in the application form is requested to sign an acknowledgement of receipt with company chop at the time of gift collection.

  17. Redeemed gifts must be collected within one month unless written notification of late collection to Golden Promise Travel Agency Co.

  18. Cash cannot be claimed in lieu of gifts. Photos of gifts featured are for identification only and gifts listed may be amended at the discretion of the Golden Promise Travel Agency Co. All gifts are subject to the availability of stock.

  19. Golden Promise Travel Agency Co. reserves the right to modify Golden Promise Rewards Programme structure, benefits and other features, including the terms and conditions, or to terminate member’s membership and participation in the Programme or revoke all the Rewards Progarmme points that have been earned by the member. Golden Promise Travel Agency Co.’s determination shall be final and conclusive.

  20. Golden Promise Travel Agency Co. reserves the right to change the basis on which Golden Promise Rewards Programme points are rewarded (including the amount of GP points rewarded) at any time, with or without notice, at Golden Promise Rewards Programme’s sole discretion.

  21. Golden Promise Rewards Programme points (GP points) are not exchangeable for cash. GP points cannot be sold, purchased, assigned, or transferred. GP points accumulated under a member’s account cannot be carried forward or transferred to another member’s account.

  22. For vouchers, merchandises, products and services redeemable under the Golden Promise Rewards Programme but are not issued/provided by Golden Promise Travel Agency Co., Golden Promise Travel Agency Co. is not a supplier of those items and will not accept any liability in relation thereto.

  23. Member is advised to examine the redeemed gift item or the amount and quantity of cash vouchers upon collection; otherwise, Golden Promise Travel Agency Co. shall not be liable for any loss arising from the merchants and service partners who provide the gift for the redemption programme. Golden Promise Travel Agency Co. is not the product providers, in the case of product enquiry, complaint, faulty and/or damaged goods, members shall raise the complaint directly to the respective product providers. Golden Promise Travel Agency Co. shall not be liable for the loss.

  24. The personal data provided by members is required for the operation of Golden Promise Travel Agency Co. and related promotions including the issue of gifts and benefits. Personal data may also be used for ongoing research, marketing, programme development and communication of news and information to members.

  25. All information is managed in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance. Personal data may be used for direct marketing of our products and/or services relating to Golden Promise Travel Agency Co., its subsidiary websites ,together with services and products from our business partners, advertisers, charity associations, and non-government organizations (including travel, dining, entertainment, apparel, health & beauty, education, household, transportation, banking, insurance and other consumer products and services, and appeals for donation).

  26. Golden Promise Travel Agency Co. reserves the right to cancel or revise or suspend or discontinue the Golden Promise Rewards Programme or the terms and conditions herein at any time it deems necessary with or without notice and without having to give any reasons for doing so. Golden Promise Travel Agency Co. may (but shall not be obliged to ) give advance notice to members in the manner it deems appropriate in the event it decides to cancel, revise or suspend the Golden Promise Rewards Programme or the terms and conditions stated herein.

  27. Without prejudice to any provisions in the foregoing, members expressly understand and agree that Golden Promise Travel Agency Co. and its agent(s) shall not be liable for (a) any claims, losses, costs and damages of whatever nature resulting from the member’s enrollment on the Golden Promise Rewards Programme, use of the Golden Promise Rewards Programme, redemption of gifts and use of the gifts and (b) any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, data or other intangible losses.

  28. Members may terminate their membership at any time by giving written notice to The Golden Promise Travel Agency Co., at which time any outstanding points will be cancelled.

  29. These terms and conditions are set out herein shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Laws of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

  30. If there is any argument and opposition arising out of or in connection with Golden Promise Rewards Programme. Golden Promise Travel Agency Co. reserves the right to make the final decision and discretion.

  31. If this English version of the terms and conditions does not conform to other language versions and if there is any conflict or difference between other language versions and its English version, the English version prevails.
